The Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) is a global confederation of locally based women’s organizations providing support, inspiration, information and networking opportunities to women and men who are active members of the international trade community.Â
OWIT Chapter Ecuador is a community of more than 100 women leaders from the Ecuadorian export and import sector, as well as logistics companies that provide services to the foreign trade chain. They view the world as an opportunity to innovate, embrace transformation, and achieve great goals within the framework of sustainable development, social and financial inclusion, and the creation of opportunities to reduce the gender gap and generate collective well-being.
OWIT Chapter Ecuador’s objectives are:
• To raise the visibility of women in the foreign trade sector.
• To learn from the experiences of more women from Ecuador through their stories.
• To encourage spaces where women can continue to demonstrate their abilities and contribute to society.
• To influence management and professional development.
• To create valuable networking opportunities.
