Biographical Information
Pilar is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from Lima University, in her native country Lima-Peru. Her professional extensive experience comes from working in Auditing, Finance and Accounting Department in Peruvian and foreign companies, such as North American and Finnish corporations: Warner-Lambert Peru S.A., Owens – Illinois Peru S.A. and Wartsila Peru S.A.C. are some of them. These corporations belong to commerce, manufacturing and services sectors. During that time, she shared professional experiences with her colleagues in cities like Tarapoto, Peru; Sao Paulo, Brazil; La Paz, Bolivia; Medellin, Colombia; Quito, Ecuador; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Panama City, Panama, and Bogota, Colombia. Her background experience includes accounting-financial management, management and design of process and the design and implementation of effective internal control systems within each process. Pilar is currently working in the Finance & Accounting Department of an American company in NYC. She’s been working hard in her immersion process since she came to USA. Pilar also enjoys practicing self-motivation and believes that each employee is the main resource that every company has: “a motivated and excellence-oriented staff will shine on its own and will make the company, shine too”. Pilar loves art (painting, drawing, sculpture) also enjoys reading, taking walks to see nature and taking pictures of all what she finds as “simply beautiful”.
