The establishment of the OWIT Chapter in Brussels serves as a central hub within the European Union for international members of the organization. Our chapter primarily focuses on two key areas: 1. Advocacy and the examination of gender bias in the context of international trade, which affects women both as consumers and as leaders in the business world. 2. Developing and sharing tools and knowledge to support women-led companies looking to expand internationally. By engaging at the grassroots level, we maintain a close connection to the realities faced by women-led businesses, enabling us to better represent them in policy discussions. Our overarching goal is to contribute to a gender-balanced world. In simple terms, our mission is to recognize and nurture the unique qualities of various genders and cultures, embracing diversity as a wellspring of diverse solutions and innovative ideas.
