Ms. E. Audrey Glover-Dichter has over 25 years of legal experience, and she has extensive experience working with clients and businesses worldwide, mostly in Spanish. Ms. Glover-Dichter uses her legal, business knowledge, and foreign language skills to assist her clients minimize legal risk in the field of Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions Law (Consumer Protection Law compliance– FTC, FDA, COPPA, CPSC, Can-SPAM, Textile Act, Privacy Issues, etc.) As an Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions Law attorney, Ms. Glover-Dichter guides clients through the creative process for marketing campaigns to be legally compliant without sacrificing creativity. She also represents clients in challenges for unfair advertising, deceptive advertising, unsubstantiated claims, false advertising, comparative performance claims, advertising to children claims, green claim, made in the USA claims, natural claims, issues with pricing, promotions and sweepstakes/contests, social media marketing, transparency/consumer content, negative-options, branding, and best practices standards, among others.

Ms. Glover- Dichter is a graduate of The American University Washington College of Law (WCL) in Washington, DC. Ms. Glover-Dichter studied International Law while at WCL, from which she graduated with her Juris Doctor degree. During her extensive legal career, Ms. Glover-Dichter has authored articles and has spoken at different events sharing her legal experience and knowledge. Ms. Glover-Dichter has been a successful solo practitioner since November 1999. Currently, Ms. Glover-Dichter is an active member of the Organization of Women in International Trade, OWIT, South Florida Chapter and served as Vice- President of the Planning Committee 2017-2019. Currently, Ms. Glover-Dichter is Assistant General Counsel of OWIT. Ms. Glover-Dichter is also an active member of the Access Committee of the Advertising Club of New York.

Kari Kammel, as Assistant Director of Education and Outreach for the A-CAPP Center works on professional training, adult education, program management and design spanning multiple disciplines. She enjoys working on the center’s executive education programming, outreach and collaboration on and off-campus, managing the student program, and research on legal issues pertaining to trademark counterfeiting. She has researched on a comprehensive analysis of U.S. state anti-counterfeiting laws and case law. She enjoys working at the center because of its multi-disciplinary focus, creative solutions, and cutting-edge research. Prior to coming to the center, she spent a significant time working, traveling, and living in the Middle East, including Egypt, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Jordan, and others. She was Deputy Chief of Party at DePaul College of Law’s Iraq office, where she managed rule of law programs; and Deputy Executive Director in the Chicago office.  She is a licensed attorney in Illinois and Michigan with a J.D. from DePaul University, an M.A. in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is also an adjunct professor of law at MSU’s College of Law.
