Biographical Information
Carol J. Brewer served as Vice President for Membership for OWIT International from 2020-2021 and as Vice President for Chapter Support from 2017-2019. She was a member of the Board of Directors representing the Washington, DC chapter from 2009-2010. Ms. Brewer joined the Washington, DC chapter (WIIT-DC) in 1998 and was Co-Chair of its Western Hemisphere Section (2000-2004) and a member of the Board of Directors (2004-2006). While serving on the International Board, WIIT-DC selected her as the 2010 Outstanding Member of the Year for her invaluable contribution of service and commitment to the organization. She has also been a member of the Washington International Trade Association. Ms. Brewer has over twenty years of experience working in an international law firm and assisting domestic industry clients in trade remedy proceedings. She received an MBA degree from George Washington University, a B.S. degree from Georgetown University, and a certificate in international trade law and business from The Philadelphia Institute. Â
